raw.

we just got done with a ten day raw food cleanse. what does that mean? for ten days, we ate little more than fruits and vegetables (both fresh and dehydrated), nuts, seeds,and fresh fruit juice. no processed foods and definitely not anything that was heated over 116 degrees in the preparation process. a challenge to be creative and also an exercise in accountability and self control. an attempt to clean out our systems as spring and all things new are upon us.

results: a new found appreciation for many fruits and vegetables (avocados never tasted so good! more energy for sure.
